Efficiency and affordability! This is SEOVEC’s mission for our members. We were originally formed in 1972 in order to provide greater services at reduced costs for area school districts through standardization of software and services, cooperative purchasing, and economies of scale.
SEOVEC provides a means by which our member districts can stretch each valuable dollar. With Governor Kasich’s recent shared services push and budget proposal, the Southeast Ohio districts have to find new ways to shrink costs and utilize available resources. SEOVEC facilitates partnerships which can benefit our members. Whether it be life insurance, internet access, or purchasing school buses or office supplies, each partnership has an impact on the final cost to our members.
