Welcome

Welcome to the home of the Cadets! We hope you enjoy the website. As principal, I am very excited about the opportunities for staff and students at out school. We have been designated as an “Excellent School” for the last few years on our State Report Card. I am very pleased with how well our students have done on the Ohio Graduation Test (OGT) and the improvements made on the 7th and 8th Grade Achievement Tests.

We are always looking at ways to increase student achievement at Fort Frye. We have a School Improvement Team which is made up of teachers from the high school and junior high. This year we are exploring High Schools That Work (HSTW) as a School Improvement framework. We are also planning for the new Ohio Core which will be implemented with this year’s sixth graders.

We feel that parents are an important part of and should be involved in their student’s academic progress. Please feel free to contact me at ff_srauch@seovec.org or any of our staff. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
